Feelings are contextual
Different people may feel differently when faced with the same situation. The same person might feel differently about something depending on the time of day, or where they are (or their financial situation or their government or their responsibilities or whatever).

This is an exercise in “know thyself.” It is a never-ending process because your context will constantly shift throughout your life.
This is why we say that Epicism is a state of mind and not a set of rules — you must decide, depending on your context, what will maximize your pleasure.
